RouteMapper have been successful in securing a project for South Gloucestershire Council to provide a spatial video survey for a number of routes on their network.
The network length to survey is 440 lane km consisting of both single lane one/two carriageway and dual carriageway sections.
The aim of the survey is to provide South Gloucestershire Council with a clear, unequivocal visual record of the current state of the roads within their network. An inventory of signs, safety fences, kerbs, etc, along with their respective condition is to be carried out as part of the contract.
This new commission builds upon our previous work in the South West of England, notably Gloucestershire and North Somerset.
The survey is expected to be completed in spring 2011.
