RouteMapper complete Area 8 MAC commission
For the 3rd time in 3 years, RouteMapper has completed a commission for CarillionWSP. The commission was to complete spatial video for Highways Agency Area 8 MAC. This included routes in Buckinghamshire, Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, Essex, Cambridgeshire and Northamptonshire.
All of the pavement surfaces and general highway conditions are clearly and unequivocally visible, giving CarillionWSP the visual record that they require to have the ability to assess current conditions.
The network length to survey was 716km, consisting of single lane one/two carriageway, dual carriageway and motorway sections in both directions.
RouteMapper Expansion
Due to the high volumes of work being awarded to RouteMapper, we have taken the step of commissioning another vehicle! The new van will be kitted out with all of the high-tech equipment that we have in the existing vehicles to enable the van and operator to complete surveys to the high standards that are expected of RouteMapper.
As our workload increases, we need to ensure that we have enough staff to ensure that client requirements are met efficiently. In light of this, we have a new member of staff joining us in March. Lucy Walker will work alongside Kamila on the processing of data using her GIS expertise.
6th Highways Management Conference, London, 26th Jan 2010
Once again, RouteMapper are to exhibit at the Highway Asset Management Conference. It will take place on 26th January 2010 at One Great George Street in London.
We will be displaying our RouteMapper Video Surveying System. This is a crucial system for ensuring that our existing road networks are efficiently managed. By using Spatially Encoded Video Systems, we can ensure that the operating costs are reduced whilst improving the safety of your staff.
Come and see us at stand 6 to get more information on our services.

RouteMapper Version 4
Here at RouteMapper, we are almost ready to launch new versions of our software solutions. Both the desktop and internet version have had a great deal of work done on them to make them more user friendly, faster, and above all, better than previous versions.
Whilst it still gives you all of the benefits of previous versions, our desktop browser will enable users to setup panoramic views of the highway, giving a great visual tool as you drive the route. A new digitisation module will allow data capture at a much greater speed, as well as many other benefits. The software setup will allow clients to purchase new modules as they become available, adding greater functionality to our core browser.
The new version of our Interactive software allows users to view their assets and the associated information online. We believe this is a huge benefit to our clients, enabling them to have instant access to their digitised assets anywhere.
If you would like more information on any of our new software applications, please contact us on:
